1. On three sets of facing pages develop storyboards for each of the three animations that depict your final sketchup model. The storyboards should communicate 3 narratives that describe the most significant and distinctive aspects of your design
2. During the class randon students will be asked to present a critique of the students work that they posted a comment on. They should refer to categories of assessment in the marking schedule to give focus to their critique..
Note: throughout the class pairs of students will be demonstrating the methods they have used to construct and texture their Sketchup models.
Complete by 10am Monday August 20.
1. Upload 3 short animations (10 second max) based on the storyboards above to YouTube and provide links to them on your blog. Include "ARCH1102", "EXP1", "2007" and your "Full Name" as tags to your YouTube uploads. See tutor Tam Nguyen's blog for a tutorial on how to do this.
Note: my blog has the settings you should use regarding the Animation Export Options, see below for a link.
2. Continue to develop your Sketchup model through to a high level of conceptual resolution. This model should include the best examples of your custom textures and the scenes used to construct your animations.
3. Upload your final Sketchup model to Google Warehouse. Include "ARCH1102", "EXP1", "2007" and your "Full Name" as tags to your Google Warehouse uploads. See my blog for a tutorial on how to do this. www.russelllowedotcom.blogspot.com
