01_INTRO TO EMERGENCE

Emergence is an explanation of how natural systems have evolved and maintained themselves.
It is also one of the most exciting fields in contemporary architectural theory. It also has roots deep into Economics, Biology, Artificial Intelligence and Language itself.
What is Emergence, why it has gained such a relevant role in present-day science? What are the implications for Aarchitecture in general and Computational Design in particular?

1. Following this weeks lecture, by Guilia Conti, using the concept of emergence create your second grasshopper script for pavilion versions 4-6.

2. Stream iterations through to UE4 for real time evaluation.

All tasks must be completed by the beginning of next week's tutorial. All task requirements contribute to your final blog grade.Complete by next weeks tutorial.

1. Using Fraps (or similar), post 5 images from different vantage points around your different pavilions and site model in UE4.

2. Write a 50-100 word statement describing the distinctiveness and significance of your design.  

Note: make sure you back up your UE4 project folder on a regular basis ... it will be a part of your Phase02 submission.
